Join Ilana Singer Siegal this June for our LifeWorks Surf & Yoga Retreat. Step outside your comfort zone and away from the busyness of life. There will be something for everyone from daily movement classes in open-air studios; soak in the sun by the pool; waterfall hikes; surfing; Spanish lessons; and plenty of time for discovery and connection.
A week of movement, connection, and adventure designed for parents, their teens and the adventurous traveler. Together, you’ll experience the rhythm of the ocean, the grounding of yoga, and the joy of shared discovery—while also making space for personal reflection and independent exploration.

What is the age range for this retreat?
Our retreat is designed for both teens (13+) and adults, with activities suitable for all ages. Parents and teens will have shared sessions, with some specialized classes for each group.
Is prior surf experience required?
No prior surf experience is required! Surf lessons* are tailored for all levels, from beginners to advanced surfers. Our expert instructors will guide you through each step.
What kind of accommodations are provided?
Cozy jungle bungalows are provided, offering a peaceful, nature-filled retreat. Each bungalow is surrounded by lush greenery, providing a tranquil atmosphere to relax and recharge.
What should I pack?
We recommend packing light and bringing items like comfortable clothing for yoga and surfing, swimwear, sunscreen, bug spray, sunglasses, a hat, and any personal items. You’ll also need a valid ID and any travel documents.
Are meals included?
Yes, healthy and delicious meals are included throughout your stay. We offer thoughtfully curated shared meals, and you’ll have free nights to explore Nosara’s local cuisine.
Can I bring my own surfboard?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own surfboard. However, if you don’t have one, the resort provides surfboards for lessons at no extra charge.
Is transportation included in the retreat price?
Transportation to and from the resort is not included in the base retreat price. However, we offer transport from Liberia International Airport (LIR) for an additional fee.
Are there options for dietary restrictions?
Yes, we can accommodate common dietary restrictions such as vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and other dietary needs. Please notify us in advance, and we’ll make sure to cater to your needs.
How do I book additional activities (like zip-lining or ATVs)?
Additional activities such as spa treatments, zip-lining, ATVs, and excursions can be booked directly through the resort upon arrival or in advance. We’ll send you more details once you’ve signed up for the retreat.
Is there an option for a single room?
Yes, Single rooms are available. Please refer to the pricing list to see which rooms would be best for you.
Is yoga equipment provided?
Yes, all yoga equipment is provided by the resort.
